Cheap Hotels In Central Tokyo (Close To Ginza, Station And Imperial Palace)

Hotel Horidome Villa

Price: From $50

If you don’t mind a tiny room – this hotel is the best deal in Japan. Rooms are super clean and they managed to pack in all the necessary amenities – a Flat-screen TV, hot water kettle, bathrobes, slippers, and high-speed internet (Free wifi in the lobby). The location is very convenient, close to Akihabara.

Access from Narita Airport is easy, taking the Keisei Skyliner to Ueno Station and then the subway. The nearest Subway station has lots of lines, including a JR line, so commuting within the city is easy.

The area has plenty of local restaurants and department stores within walking distance.

Cheap Hotels In Shinagawa (1 Stop from Tokyo Station)

Chisun Hotel Shinagawa West

Price: From $70 Per Niggt

For around $70 a night you get a clean room with a modern design. There’s a Free wired Internet in the room and a computer station on the first floor (100 Yen/10 minutes). The hotel has laundry facilities and a restaurant.

There’s a convenience store just around the corner and plenty of local restaurants in the area.

Cheap Hotels In Ueno

Oak Hotel

Price: From $60

There’s a lively community vibe at the Oak hotel, and you can meet travelers from all around the world, including families traveling together. Rooms are small but include all necessary amenities.

You can choose a Japanese room (tatami mats, sleeping on a mattress) or a western-style room with beds. There are free computers and Wifi in the lobby.

The hotel is close to the Ueno subway station, stores, zoo, museums, and cheap restaurants.

Ueno First City Hotel

Price: From $70

Ueno First City Hotel is a 5-10 minutes walk from various subway stations and 5 min walk from Ueno Zoo, the National Museum, The National Museum of Western Art, shops, and restaurants. Akihabara and Ginza are also close by. Amenities include slippers, toiletries, yukata robe, mini-fridge, flat-screen TV, hairdryer, and desk.

An impeccably clean and tiny room welcomes guests to this hotel. The location is 10 minutes walk from Ueno station or Asakusa station. Both are very central subway hubs. Access from Narita Airport is by the Keisei Skyliner. The area is safe and quiet.

Excellent location on a small street, just an overhead bridge connection away from Ueno station.Being so close to Ueno Station makes transportation around the city, from Narita airport and to other places in Japan very easy.

Clean and compact rooms, quiet pedestrian-only streets.
