Ain Soph Ripple

Vegan and junk food don’t usually go together very well. However, this place will instantly become your favorite if that’s your craving. You’ll find the best hamburgers, pizza, and burritos, all vegan, in the Ain Soph restaurant chain. Ripple stands out among them to be the best vegan fast food place. Ripple is worth visiting for its delicious food. You can find meat alternatives and mouthwatering fast food. However, it comes at a high price with minimal seating. It is mostly crowded due to the good food it offers.

Getting there: Access the Seibu Shinjuku Station in Shinjuku, you can reach Ripple from the North Exit without any hassle.

You can also connect to the Seibu Shinjuku line from your northern Yamanote line around Takadanobaba. From here, travel towards the south. Within 12 minutes you’ll be at your destination. It’ll cost around ¥280 on this route. Alternatively, you can use the Sobu line. From the Okubo station which is 20 minutes away from Akihabara, it’ll be an 8-minute walk only. This route will cost ¥170.

You can also arrive there on foot from the Shinjuku Station. Just make use of your Google maps and remember, if it’s taking more than 15 minutes, you’re probably going in the wrong direction.

T’s Tantan

Inside Tokyo Station, you’ll find this restaurant that serves vegan ramen. Tantan is a term derived from the name of a Chinese Sichuan dish called tantanmen. It is a spicy dish made of noodles and vegetables drowned in broth, seasoned with chili oil and sesame paste. At T’s Tantan, you’ll find a good mix of tantanmen dishes as well as the mild options of ramen dishes. You can also find Asian fried chicken, a vegan version obviously, served in a sweet-n-sour sauce with gyoza.

Getting there: T’s Tantan can be accessed by taking a metro to the Tokyo station. Inside the station, you’ll find the restaurant towards the Keiyo line. To be exact, it is the last shop on the right side on Keiyo Street that comes when you go down the stairs.

Since the restaurant is located inside the gates of the station, you need a subway ticket to enter. This is why we recommend going there on a subway in the first place. The restaurant offers a comfortable and relaxing vibe. Since the menu is mostly semi-fast food, it isn’t very expensive. The service is fast as well.
