If you can spend about US$150 per night, you will find a lot of hotels that are ideally located and comfortable in Tokyo. This page suggests some of the best business and mid-range hotels that Tokyo has to offer. Make sure to check the location of each one of them before you decide where you want to stay. All the hotels I’ve listed here are great to stay in, so make your decision based on the location you prefer.

This hotel is my fav in terms of location, overlooking Tokyo Station. You cant ask for a more convinient situation in terms of transportation within Tokyo and to the rest of Japan. It offers more in style than what is typical in business hotels.

Remm Akihabara Hotel
This is another ideally located hotel directly connected to JR Akihabara Train Station. Akihabara’s famous Electric Town is just a 2-minute walk away. The rates are extremely reasonable.

Park Hotel
A completely different vibe from the above, this hotel located in Shiodome offers comfortable rooms with stunning views of Tokyo. The Akihabara buzzing area right at your doorstep, with restaurants and entertainment galore. The rates are extremely reasonable, offering great value for money.

Royal Park Hotel the Shiodome
Located above the 24th floor and offering city and bay views in Shiodome.

Gate Hotel
Asakusa has more a traditional feel to it, one of the only neighborhoods in Tokyo were buildings have survived through earthquakes,bombings and fires. This hotel enjoys the best location of all the hotels in Asakusa just a 5-minute walk from Senso-ji Temple. The rooms are large and stylish.

Sunroute Plaza
This business hotel is very busy and popular. It is located extremely close to the busy Shinjuku Station. The prices are great for the location. It’s a wonderful place to stay in.

Another hotel located extremely close to Tokyo Station. It does everything right, a great central location for your stay in Tokyo.

This hotel is located extremely close to Shinjuku Station. The rooms are outstanding, with wonderful views, and extremely reasonable rates.

Great Business and Mid-Range Hotels in Less Central Locations
Here are a few more wonderful mid-range hotels.
The issue with these hotels is that they aren’t ideally located. Choose one of these if location isn’t particularly important to you.
Grand Arc Hanzomon
This hotel is near the Imperial Palace. It’s great to stay in but not ideally connected with the trains.

Sheraton Miyako
This hotel is located in Shirokanedai. It is huge and offers great facilities. However, the location is inconvenient, but it offers low rates to make up for this.

Tokyu Stay
This is an apartment-style hotel. Its rooms come with washing machines. It’s ideal for longer stays. There are a few in Tokyo.

This hotel is close to Shibuya Station. The rates are reasonable, the rooms stylish.
